Discover the art of jewelry making in a unique hands-on sterling silver workshop in the Netherlands. Guided by artist and jeweler Laura Essayie, you will sculpt your own pair of recycled silver earrings in an intimate studio setting near Utrecht.
Would you like to discover the process of making a jewel by hand? Laura welcomes you into her studio to create your own pieces of earrings in recycled sterling silver. During this immersive jewelry workshop, you will choose your favorite design from a curated selection of Laura's sculptural jewelry collection.
You will be guided through every step of the process, including making a silver wire, sculpting and shaping the metal, soldering (depending on the chosen design), and polishing and finishing your jewel. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a unique handmade jewel, ready to wear or offer as a meaningful gift. You are also welcome to bring old silver jewelry that you would like to recycle and transform into a new contemporary piece.
