This Cookie Policy explains how Handworks.nl ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit or use our platform.

We currently use one first-party cookie to keep the admin and artisan dashboards usable:

This cookie is strictly functional: it only stores a UI preference and does not track you across the web or identify you personally.

In addition to cookies, we use your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to support core features. These technologies store information locally on your device and are not sent to our servers automatically.

• Authentication state: Supabase stores your session tokens in localStorage so you can stay signed in between visits.
• Pending booking: If you start a booking, a temporary token is saved in localStorage so we can resume it after sign-in or email verification.
• Post-sign-in redirect: We briefly remember the page you were trying to reach before signing in, so we can bring you back afterwards.
• Group booking draft: If you are requesting a corporate or private event, your draft answers are saved in localStorage so you do not lose progress.
• Host profile draft: Artisans editing their profile have their draft saved locally while they work.
• Pending signup state: During email verification we use sessionStorage to remember that a signup is in progress.

You can clear this local data at any time through your browser settings. If you do, you may be signed out and any unfinished drafts may be lost.

We use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry only receives technical error information and is active only when our error-tracking configuration is enabled. We do not use Sentry to track your browsing behaviour for advertising purposes.

We do not currently use marketing or analytics cookies such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising trackers.

Most web browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, or block cookies through their settings. You can also clear localStorage and sessionStorage from your browser. Please note that disabling cookies or clearing storage may affect how parts of the platform work, such as keeping you signed in or remembering an unfinished booking.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
