What you'll leave with
- The technique for two handmade pasta shapes, made from scratch with a knife or rolling pin
- A digital recipe to recreate the pasta at home whenever you like
- A full dinner: appetizers, fresh pasta with Sicilian sauces, eaten together at the table
Workshop in detail
Get your hands dusted with flour alongside Chiara. In her kitchen at La Bottega, you will learn to shape fresh pasta from scratch by knife, rolling pin, or pasta machine, depending on the group.
The session opens with welcoming appetizers made with Sicilian products, then Chiara walks you through the dough and the shaping. You will make two pasta types, orecchiette and cavatelli, or tagliatelle, working through the techniques together. Then the pasta goes into the pot and onto the table, seasoned with Sicilian sauces, eaten as a group.
You will leave with a digital recipe to recreate it at home, and the feel for it in your hands.
