Soil Fundamentals

with Sofia Lange

De Boerderij 3h

Workshop in detail

Three hours on Sofia's small farm twenty minutes south of the city, learning the practical basics of building living soil at home — whether you have a balcony, a back garden, or an allotment.

You'll examine soil under a hand lens, smell the difference between dead and living dirt, and learn the cover-cropping, mulching and composting techniques Sofia actually uses on the farm.

It's part walking class, part nerdy biology, part hands-in-the-dirt. Tea and farm bread halfway through.
